Columbia Mayor Steve Benjamin and N.C.-based law firm Parker Poe Adams and Bernstein have quietly cut ties, with Benjamin adding in comments to The State that the departure was voluntary. Benjamin’s name came up throughout the trial for convicted racketeer Jonathan Pinson, which ended last week.
