Wednesday Swing dancers should swing by Prohibition to enjoy live music by The Drifting Troubadours.

Maybe you’re looking for something a little more indie. If so, Mammoth Indigo is performing at The Sparrow. 

Another live music option is to see Steven Sandifer and Whitt Algar jammin’ out at Surf Bar.

Thursday The Omar Shrine Temple is hosting the Mt. Pleasant Business and Community Expo. Local restaurants will serve dinner and Lyndsey and Friends will perform live music.

Donate blood at the blood drive held at the Citadel Mall and receive a coupon for a free haircut and two passes to the Charleston Greek Festival.

Laugh at comedians and their new jokes at Theatre 99’s Blast Off?

Americana artist Caleb Caudle will perform at The Sparrow.

Friday The seventh annual Autumn on the Ashley, an open air craft fair, begins. Check out a variety of art media all weekend.

The Dunder Chiefs and Steady Hand String Band will perform folky, soulgrass music at Palmetto Brewing Co.

George Pate will be visiting the Wells Gallery to paint live for two days. Walk through the gallery, meet Pate, and watch him at work.

Saturday Sometimes you just feel the urge to be productive on the weekends. Help Sea Grant and the S.C. Department of Natural Resources clean up our beaches, swamps, and more.

Celebrate East Cooper Community Outreach’s 25th anniversary with live music, a climbing wall, an art bus, and food. Oh, and the event is BYOB. 

Beach it all day at the Sunset on Summer Bash and listen to live music by Jamisun, enjoy specialty cocktails from Peligroso Tequila, and watch movies Stoked! and Jaws after the sun sets.

Sunday The OPEN Arts Expo, held at the Cistern, is a must-go event. Enjoy a Luke Cunningham performance, interactive booths, dance, and more.
