On June 18 at 9:30 p.m. The Glass Onion will be featured on Broke Bites: What the Fung?!, a FYI network show which follows the Fung brothers as they to eat their way around a new city on a dime — a.k.a $50.

According to Glass Onion general manager Ryan Babb, the Fung brothers visited the West Ashley soul food-inspired joint about 10 weeks ago. “They sought us out,” Babb says. “They didn’t tell us a lot about the plot. They blew through it [filming],” he says.

The show is in its first season, so the Fung brothers may still be trying to figure out their direction. While the show says that it seeks out “cheap eats” for “ballers on a budget,” we aren’t exactly sure if The Glass Onion fits into the “cheap” category.

Babb says that he wouldn’t consider Glass Onion cheap either, but he believes the restaurant offers a good value for high quality food. If you’ve been to Glass Onion for their fried chicken nights, you know what he’s talking about. Babb says the episode highlights the fried chicken dinner (which costs $13 for two pieces of white meat and two sides, or $12 for dark meat) but that the bros also tasted a few salads and a ragu.

For those who don’t know, the FYI network is a contemporary lifestyle network focusing on reality shows that feature food, home renos, and makeover series. Oh, and they’ve got this show called Married at First Sight, which is as terrifyingly accurate as it sounds.

The FYI network is on Comcast channel 115, fyi.
