Local singer-songwriter Tristina Miller is currently recording her debut LP at West Ashley’s Hybrid Audio Solutions, but it’ll take a little Kickstarter help to get it off the ground. The acoustic pop singer needs fans to pledge $8,000 by July 17 in order to get the project funded.

When the Smoke Clears is a concept album about the evolution of love. “It’s based all around the initial start of a relationship, all the way through to the end,” she says. “When people listen to my album, I want it to feel like they just experienced this epic love that sadly had to end.”
