We were dismayed to learn that after reading a recent post of ours, the City of Charleston fire marshall decided to shut down King Dusko’s final art and music event, the Last Dance with Dusko, scheduled for Aug. 22. We view this as a major bummer.
But adversity is nothing new to those of us who are burdened and gifted with a creative spirit, and so, not to be discouraged, Dusko’s powers that be have relocated the event to Palmetto Brewing Co. at 289 Huger St. The date and time — Aug. 22, 3 p.m.-12 a.m. — remain the same, and the name of the event is now Last Dance for Dusko. What a difference a preposition can make.
