We know you need a much-deserved break this weekend after the Monday holiday — seriously, four-day weeks feel way too long. Luckily, monsoon season seems to have ended after the last few weeks and the sun is loosening its fire-y summer grip. Take advantage of the (slightly) cooler, beautiful weather with a kickball tournament or a 5K. If exercise isn’t your idea of relaxing, don’t worry — there’s a ton of stuff going on in Marion Square, like art demos from trash-to-treasure artist Lonnie Holley. Whatever kind of mood you’re in this weekend, we’ve got an event you’re not going to want to miss.
