Fincannon & Associates Casting, a North Carolina casting company, is holding an open casting call this Sun. Oct. 4 from noon- 4 p.m. at the Marriott Resort at Grande Dunes in Myrtle Beach, for 10-13 year old boys to star in a film alongside Josh Brolin and Danny McBride. That’s right folks, McBride can’t get enough of the Lowcountry. And you have one more reason to head to dirty Myrtle.

In a press release the casting director says that “no acting experience is necessary” which we find highly unlikely but still awesome — if your little Joe or Jim (brownie points for having a Jaden, that’s the character’s name) has his sights set on the big screen. The director does offer some suggestions for the kid, who will play Brolin’s son on a hunting trip, “We are looking for very real, southern young talent who have a gift for telling stories and being themselves … while having a 6th grade real boy quality.”

Call (910) 251-1500 for more information or head to Fincannon’s website.
