The area’s historic flooding has left us feeling pretty soggy. Unfortunately we can’t cheer ourselves up with all of this week’s previously planned events. Take a look at this week’s canceled events along with area closings and rescheduled dates and postponements. Please email connelly@charlestoncitypaper.com if any events are missing from this list. 

Current Cancellations

Tuesday’s Brewsday at Old Towne Creek County Park. The next Brewsday is scheduled for Thurs. Oct. 22.

Saturday’s Awendaw Blue Crab Festival. Info about refunds has yet to be released. 

Current Closings

Boone Hall Pumpkin patch, Tues. Oct. 6.
The Pumpkin patch plans to be open this weekend, and if the weather cooperates, every day until the end of the month. 

Caw Caw Interpretive Center in Ravenel and Mullet Hall Equestrian Center on Johns Island, Tues. Oct. 6. 

Cypress Gardens is closed indefinitely due to flooding damage. 

Rescheduled Events

Mt. Pleasant’s Cast-Off Fishing tourney is now scheduled for Sat. Oct. 17.

Thanks Joe! has been rescheduled for Sun. Oct. 25. 

Judy Collins at the Charleston Music Hall has been rescheduled for Tues. Dec. 22. 

The MOJA play, Gullah/Geechee Conversation Part 2 will play at Harvest Pointe Theater this Sunday Oct. 11 at 4 p.m. 

Threshold Rep’s Fantasty Fete fundraiser will now be held on Wed. Oct. 28.  

Goose Creek’s Fall Festival will now be held on Oct. 31. 

The Lowcountry trail half marathon and 5K has been rescheduled for Sun. Oct. 25. 

The Buddy Walk to benefit Down Syndrome Association of the Lowcountry has been rescheduled for Sun. Oct. 18.
