The Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry has joined Museums for All, a national program that allows families with limited financial resources to check out the museum for a reduced cost. The Children’s Museum is the first museum in South Carolina to initiate this program.

CML will welcome families of up to six people for $1 year-round with the presentation of an EBT card. CML already offers free admission to families on PNC PLAY Days and now they’ve expanded access by joining Museums for All. In a statement executive director at the museum, Nichole Myles, says, “Because we know play is essential to learning, we want every Lowcountry child and family to be able to utilize the Museum’s resources, and we’re moving forward with programs like Museums for All in order to provide better access to the Museum so that all families in our community can learn and play together.”
