What If? Productions is currently accepting digital copies of scripts, now through May 8, for their fifth annual Playwrights Competition and Festival. A panel of directors, producers, writers, and actors will select three final scripts to receive staged readings at the June fest. The chosen play will be used as part of What If?’s 2016-2017 season. Last year’s winner, The Cannibals, a play about a post-invasion U.S.A., will make its debut at June’s festival. Applicants can find more info online.
