Last week we had the pleasure of taste testing our first locally sourced cronut — check out Iron Dog Diner (4245 Rivers Ave.) for a bite — and now Charleston has its own spot for donut burgers. Tricera Coffee, of all places, has put a glazed donut sandwich with American cheese and a blackberry red wine reduction on its new late-night menu. The sinful sweet-meets-savory treat will set you back $8.
Tricera’s new late-night menu will be available from 10 p.m.-3 a.m.on Fridays and Saturdays only. The George Street shop’s new hours begin this weekend, owner Robbi Dietrich tells us. And to encourage more customers to give his new menu a try, Tricera has also added some outside-facing lighting to up George Street’s late-night appeal.
If that sets your cork to bobbin’, here’s what else you can find at Tricera beginning this weekend.
