It’s hard to know what to do in the wake of a tragedy like that in Orlando. But as we’ve seen time again, businesses find creative ways of giving back. Today Cupcake stores on King Street and in Mt. Pleasant are selling vanilla and buttercream cupcakes decorated to look like oranges and all proceeds from sales will benefit the Orlando shooting victims’ families. Each cupcake is $3.15.

The gesture won’t stop hate, but for those grieving the loss of loved ones, the financial support may help.
