This weekend, legions of beer reps, wine distributors, and mixologists will gather for BevCon, Charleston’s inaugural beverage conference. The all-liquid agenda was designed by founder Angel Postell to encourage thoughtful discussion and learning opportunities for those in the industry. But for the rest of us, there’s other libation fun to be had. On Sunday and Monday, visiting beverage mavens will partner with local bartenders taking over bars all over the peninsula. And the best part? You can get a taste of the action from 9 p.m. to midnight. Here’s where to go and what’s being served:
