Back in 2012, when we reported that 17 South was closing, the restaurant’s chef Brannon Florie told CP that he was going to open his own place in Mt. Pleasant. It would be called Falyn’s on Forty One, named after his daughter. Well two years and one other restaurant — The Granary — later, it looks like Falyn’s is finally about to become a reality. A Facebook post last week says the space will open “mid – late October.”
