[image-1]To get within arms distance of the dozens of celebrity chefs hanging out in Charleston this weekend, you’ll likely need to pay, except at one place: Charleston Wine + Food’s Retail Tent on the corner closest to King and Calhoun (near the fountain).

The free and open to the public space will feature a Blue Bicycle Books pop-up featuring some of the greatest culinary minds signing their books.

On Friday, don’t miss Steven Satterfield of Atlanta’s Miller Union. Satterfield’s book Root to Leaf is my most beloved cookbook. Designed by season, the cookbook takes the reader through the year highlighting each season’s best ingredients. I never visit the Charleston Farmers Market without flipping through it.

On Saturday, you can meet Top Chef judge Gail Simmons and former New York Times Food Critic, Gourmet editor-in-chief, and memoirist Ruth Reichl back-to-back. Then get your copy of The S.N.O.B. Experience: Slightly North of Broad by Charleston’s own legend Frank Lee.

Finally, on Sunday I wouldn’t miss picking up a signed edition of Curate: Authentic Spanish Food from an American Kitchen from Asheville’s Katie Button. [image-2]
