When you see a flyer with a photoshopped Bob Ross playing a guitar, you know the event is going to be a good time. Like the groovy advertisement, music meets art at Purple Buffalo, with local artists live painting to the music of up-and-coming funk/rock/jazz fusion band The Nocturnal Kernalz.
Host Leslie Caneda has recently formed an alliance in Charleston called Living Color. This group of artists paints at a variety of concerts, festivals, and other events, expressing the sounds and instruments of live music through certain colors as they paint. Artists will include Julia Catherine, Jessica McMillan, Megan Leger, and Caneda.
