Vintage Coffee (219 Simmons St., Mt. Pleasant), home to arguably the Lowcountry’s best toast, has just added a Coastal Crust Pizza bar out back and the results are pretty damn darling.

Already this place had nailed the cute factor — the 1930s cottage is bright and airy, and a retrofit truck in the back patio doubles as a charming children’s play structure. Now owner Brian Piesner — who also owns Coastal Crust pizza truck — has upped the adorbs by building Coastal Crust’s first brick and mortar in Vintage Coffee’s courtyard.

The crew sabered some champagne to celebrate the opening of the new spot this past weekend, and officially opens Saturday and will serve daily from 5-10 p.m. serving Coastal Crust’s signature wood-fired pizza, in addition to some new menu items, craft beer, and wine.
