Theater lovers, fear not: the historic Dock Street venue suffered no damage from Hurricane Irma. There were some canceled showtimes, though, due to the storm, which means missed opportunities for those hoping to travel under the sea with Ariel and co.

To make up for these cancelled shows, Charleston Stage has added two 2 p.m. Saturday matinee performances, one this Sat. Sept. 16, and one next Sat. Sept. 23.

In a press release, director Maybeth Clark said of the production: “Our first two weeks of The Little Mermaid had record-breaking sales and audiences have been raving about this magical production.” [content-1]
Performances will continue running this Thurs. Sept. 14 through Sun. Sept. 24. To purchase tickets, visit charlestonstage.com, or call (843) 577-7183.
