[image-1]The Commodore and the Most Races Show on Earth team up for a four month stand-up comedy series, aptly titled, the Commodore Comedy Series. MRSOE, in case you didn’t know, places special emphasis on featuring comedians of all racial, ethnic, religious, and sexual orientations.

[image-2]The first show of the series will be held on Thurs. Sept. 21 at 8:30 p.m. featuring Jess Salomon and Eman El-Husseini and hosted by Neil Bansil. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online.

Salomon and El-Husseini’s show, fittingly, takes place during Charleston Pride week. The Jewish-Canadian and Palestinian-Muslim couple are, as the show’s description puts it, “the ultimate minority” with the aim “to just be funny and avoid being deported.” We’re laughing already.
