Local comedian Hunter Gardner presents a new sketch comedy show this week, starting with a performance at Redux tonight at 9 p.m. Tonight’s show is $5 and Saturday and Sunday’s shows are now reduced to $8. The one-hour show, written and directed by Gardner, stars Connor Hanrah an, Meredith Kidd, Andy Livengood, Matt Perry, and Deshawn Christopher Mason. The show is a compilation of sketches that Gardner has been written and workshopped over the past year and a half, curated to create a cohesive production. The running theme, according to Gardner, is “slightly absurd characters taking silly things too seriously.”
