[image-1]If the popularity of the Gin Joint’s Miracle Christmas pop-up bar was any indication last year, the Windjammer should prepare to be packed throughout the month of December.
In celebration of the season — and the IOP landmark’s 45th anniversary — the ‘Jammer is hosting a Christmas wonderland pop-up all of December.
What’s that mean?
“Imagine if Clark Griswold was in charge of mixology,” says Hallie Arnold, Windjammer bartender.
Arnold adds that the holiday hell-raising is in partnership with Dixie Vodka and Endless Summer Rum. There will be an elf photo booth, guest bartenders, Santa’s little surf shot tiki nights, and, our personal favorite, Naughty or Ice drinks — a Smirnoff Ice gift wrapped for unsuspecting guests.
If that weren’t enough to get you into your most festive outfit and on the IOP Connector, perhaps the charity angle will. Windjammer Wonderland will also include a month-long toy drive in addition to donations for every Windjammer stocking purchased which will be given to Lowcountry Orphan Relief.
The party starts Dec. 1. Check the Windjammer’s Facebook page for more details to come.
