The Book of Mormon begins its North Charleston Performing Arts Center run next Tues. Oct. 17, with performances each night through Sun. Oct. 22 (including additional 2 p.m. shows on Saturday and Sunday).

Like they’ve done in shows past, the irreverent Broadway production opens a pre-show lottery at the box office, offering a limited number of tickets for $25 a pop. Entries are accepted two and a half hours before each show, with each attendee allotted up to two tickets. Two hours before showtime names will be drawn at random to collect the limited number of $25 tickets.

Is it worth it? If you’re trying to save $24 and have time on your hands, sure. Although, you can still get tickets at ticketmaster.com for as low as $49 for each show, if you’re more into planning.
