The Gibbes recently received a $6,500 grant through the Employees Community Fund of Boeing South Carolina. This money goes towards the museum’s visiting artist series, which “promotes creativity and introduces new art forms while providing perspectives on larger community issues to connect artist with the public.”
Past visiting artists include Crowell A Pate IV, Stacy Lynn Waddell, Thomas Schomberg, Amy Abbe, Patrick Dougherty, Becca Barnet, Charles Williams, and Stacey Kirby.
