[embed-1]Last night after 8 p.m. when J. Stark employees left for the evening, the locally owned and operated leather bag and luggage store located at 208 Coming St. was broken into.

Founder of J. Stark Erik Holmberg tells us that no one was injured and that the only item that appears to be missing is the store’s cash register. Holmberg could not say how much money was in the register at the time.

Holmberg says that he believes police officers arrived on the scene around 4:30 a.m. An Instagram post earlier this morning shows a shattered storefront window, which Holmberg says was broken by a brick.

J. Stark’s first brick and mortar opened earlier this year as a hybrid work and retail space. [location-1] [content-1] [content-2]
