[image-1]Runoff elections for two Charleston City Council seats will be held after candidates failed to clear the 50-percent-plus-one line.

Amy Brennan won 411 votes to William Dudley Gregorie’s 410 votes in District 6, according to the latest batch of official results released by Charleston County.

In District 10, incumbent Dean Riegel is out of the question after capturing a mere 17 percent of voters. Summer Massey, who got 440 votes, and 22-year-old Harry Joseph Griffin, with 403 votes, will duke it out in less than two weeks.

Registered voters in both districts will be able to decide their representational future on Tuesday, Nov. 21.

As always, the City Paper will keep an eye on all candidates and races in the coming days.
