Miller’s All Day, the new spot from partners Greg Johnsman (Geechie Boy Mill) and Nathan Thurston (Thurston Southern), has named two chefs. Madison Tessener will be executive chef and DaVee Harned is the pastry chef.

Tessener and Harned have been tasked with bringing to life Thurston and Johnsman’s “brunch-centric” concept. The partners told CP in April that Miller’s All Day will serve breakfast all day, seven days a week.

And a baller breakfast it should be. Tessener has spent time at FIG, Glass Onion, Husk, McCrady’s, and most recently, Chez Nous. Meanwhile, Harned — who CP wrote about in March — is a Johnson & Wales grad who currently works at Kiawah Island’s Cassique Club, but has previously been employed by LB Sweets and Treats, Wild Flour, Stars and Paw Paw.

“We sought the best talent we could find for this concept,” says Thurston. “And we couldn’t be happier or more enthusiastic about Madison and DaVee. These two are extraordinarily talented and will bring great energy to the restaurant.”

Opening in the old Bull Street Gourmet (120 King St.), Miller’s All Day is expected to unlock its doors in early 2018.
