Charleston County Schools: Schools won’t reopen until Tues., Jan. 9 for students.
Dorchester District 2: Closed Wed., Closed Thurs.
Dorchester District 4: Closed Wed., Closed Thurs.
Berkeley County Schools: Offices closed Wed., Closed Thurs.
Charleston School of Law: Closed Wed., Closed Thurs.
College of Charleston: Closed Wed. Closed Thurs. Closed Fri. Residence halls move-in open as convenient Thursday and Friday.
Trident Technical College: Closed Wed., Thurs. TBD
The Citadel: Closed Wed., Thurs., and Fri.
Government offices and services
City of Charleston: Closed Wed., Thurs., and Fri. (except for emergency services).
City of North Charleston: Closed Wed., Closed Thurs.
Charleston County: Closed Wed., Closed Thurs.
Berkeley County: Closed Wed., Closed Thurs.
Dorchester County: Closed Wed., Closed Thurs.
State offices follow the county in which they reside.
Charleston County Public Libraries: Closed Wed., Closed Thurs.

Transportation

CARTA: Services suspended Wed., Thurs, Fri. Expected to begin Sat. at noon. Check CARTA social media for updates.
Amtrak: Silver Meteor service between Miami, Florida and New York City, which stops in Charleston, is cancelled on Thurs. Palmetto service between Savannah, Georgia and New York City will only run north of Washington, D.C. on Thurs. Click here to check the status of you train.

Hospitals
The Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center outpatient clinics at the downtown campus and VA’s clinics in Hinesville, Goose Creek, Beaufort, Savannah and Myrtle Beach, and the Trident Annex: Closed for appointments Wed. through noon on Thurs.
MUSC: University and outpatient clinics closed Wed. and Thurs. Hospitals remain open.
