[image-1] As part of their Wide Angle Lunch Series, the Charleston Library Society hosts City Paper editorial cartoonist, Steve Stegelin, on Thurs. Oct. 25 at 12:30 p.m. Tickets for Wide Angle lunches typically run $30 a pop ($20 for members), but in honor of CP‘s loyal readers, the Library Society is offering $10 tickets to CP fans. You can purchase your discounted ticket online.

Stegelin has been creating weekly comics for us here at the City Paper for over 14 years, often taking on controversial current events with his sharp social commentary. In addition to his weekly editorial cartoons, Stegelin also pens those creative Blotter-inspired sketches as well as the faces of many local politicians for our special election issues.

According to the Library Society, Stegelin’s talk, part career retrospective and part philosophical discussion, “delves into the importance of social commentary and how that political discussion has evolved during the current administration.”

See y’all there.
