Who doesn’t love dinner and a movie? (Especially when it’s all at a fixed price — no surprises here). The Charleston Music Hall is teaming up with 39 Rue de Jean to host a night of French dinner and a flick on Mon. April 22. Guests can enjoy a three-course prix fixe menu at 39 Rue de Jean at either 5:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. before heading over to watch Casablanca at the Music Hall at 7:30 p.m.

There are three ticket packages attendees can choose from: film only ($8), dinner and the film ($36), and dinner and the film along with a full glass wine pairing ($75). Call (843) 722-8881 to set up a reservation.

The dinner menu includes dishes like Harira-lentil, a tomato and chickpea soup; an entree of Chicken Tagine, olive and tomato braised thighs served with apricot and almond couscous and cilantro; and lime cake soaked with orange blossom syrup, candied pistachios, and honey citrus yogurt.

For those unfamiliar with the classic film, Casablanca stars Humphrey Bogart as Rick Blaine, a nightclub owner in Casablanca who discovers that his old flame Ilsa (Ingrid Bergman) is in town with her husband, Victor Laszlo (Paul Henreid).
