Today, Volvo Car Stadium announced a special spring concert for all you DMB fans. On Sat. April 20 at 7:30 p.m. head to Daniel Island for an evening with Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds. Tickets for DMB fans (like, the real offish ones) are on sale now and go on sale to the general public on Fri. March 15 at 10 a.m.

Now, I’m admittedly not a Dave Matthews fan. In fact, I can’t name a single song of his that I like. I know, I know. Music editor Kelly Rae Smith, on the other hand, is a former DMB junkie, circa the ’90s. But I do appreciate the devotion of all those DMB fans out there, and I imagine an evening with Dave and frequent collaborator Tim, will be a delight.
[content-1] In addition to being one of Dave’s longtime collaborators, Reynolds has a long solo career of his own and founded the electric power trio, TR3.

This is one of two special shows the pair will play this year, in addition to the Dave Matthews Band summer tour. A press release promises that Reynolds and Matthews’ “rare performances as an acoustic duo give fans the opportunity to experience their special chemistry up-close, as they strip down each song to its essence and tell stories.”

The Charleston show benefits Meeting Street Schools, a local nonprofit of public and private schools.
