[image-1] Through its Seamless Summer Feeding Program, the Charleston County School District will be serving free, kid friendly, breakfast and lunch meals at a handful of local libraries across the area over the summer. Operating from Mon. June 10 to Aug. 9, this program allows school districts to provide free summer meals in low-income areas during the traditional summer vacation period.

Several Charleston County Public Library branches will have free food available to any child in need including:

Johns Island Regional Library at 10:30 a.m.
Otranto Road Regional Library at 11 a.m.
Hurd/ St. Andrews Regional Library at 11:15 a.m.
Dorchester Road Regional Library at 11:40 a.m.
John L. Dart Library at 11:50 a.m.
Main Library at 12:20 a.m.
Cooper River Memorial Library at 12:30 p.m.

Heavy snack, rather than hot lunches, will also be served at Edisto Library and McClellanvile on Mon., Tues., and Fri. at 2:30 p.m. June 10-Aug. 9.
