COVID-19 updates: South Carolina health officials reported 739 cases of coronavirus on Tuesday, with 30 additional confirmed deaths.
With 5,160 tests collected, the percent-positive rate was 14.3 percent.
As of 3:29 p.m. Sept. 22, via S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control:
Confirmed cases in S.C.: 137,406 (+739 new cases since Monday)
Percent Positive: 14.3% (up from 9.5%)
Positive tests in Charleston County (total): 15,315 (+58)
Negative tests in S.C.: 1,080,626
Deaths in S.C. from COVID-19: 3,067 (+30)
