COVID-19 updates: South Carolina health officials reported 527 new cases of coronavirus on Tuesday, with 22 additional confirmed deaths.

With 4,007 tests collected, the percent-positive rate was 13.2 percent.

As of 3:30 p.m. Sept. 29, via S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control:
Confirmed cases in S.C.:  143,495 (+527)
Positive tests in Charleston County (total): 15,610 (+19)
Negative tests in S.C.: 1,268,864
Deaths in S.C. from COVID-19: 3,173 (+22)
