COVID-19 updates: South Carolina health officials reported 680 new cases of the coronavirus on Friday, with 7 additional confirmed deaths.

With 4,743 tests on Friday, 14.3 percent came back positive.

As of 4:50 p.m. Oct. 30, via S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control:
Confirmed cases in S.C.:  167,057 (+680)
Positive tests in Charleston County (total): 16,774 (+32)
Negative tests in S.C.: 1,810,217
Deaths in S.C. from COVID-19: 3,653 (+7)
