Election day is finally here, and the polls are open until 7 p.m. statewide if you aren’t one of the 1.31 million South Carolinians who have not voted yet.

Polls open across Charleston County at 7 a.m. at dozens of voting sites. To find your precinct or view your sample ballot, visit scvotes.gov.

Voters must show a qualifying photo ID in order to cast their ballot on election day, including a S.C. driver’s license, DMV ID card, voter registration card (with photo), federal military ID or a U.S. Passport

Anyone in line when the polls close at 7 p.m. is allowed to vote.
