Survey: 22% of teachers in South Carolina want to leave profession. A new survey from education group SC for Ed found that 22% of the more than 2,000 teachers surveyed plan to leave the occupation. It also found that 39% of respondents do not plan to return to their same role after this school year. Source: WBTW

Thousands of S.C. ballots not counted, most due to missing signature. A total of 4,331 mail-in ballots from the Palmetto State weren’t counted because they were missing a signature or were returned too late. Of those, 122 from Charleston County were invalidated. Source: WCSC
