South Carolina has administered 4 million total tests since the pandemic began, health officials reported on Sunday. With thousands of tests reported every day, dozens of options remain for Charleston-area residents to get COVID-19 tests.

South Carolina health officials reported 3,667 new cases of the coronavirus on Sunday, with 48 additional confirmed deaths.

With 12,821 tests reported Sunday, 28.6% were positive.

On Monday alone, there are 39 places residents can visit to receive a COVID-19 test. Some require appointments or referrals, some are paid tests and still others are free, walk-in type settings.

Among the testing options on Monday is the free drive-thru rapid testing at the airport, open 2:30 until 5:30 p.m. — testing is also available there Wednesday and Friday during the same hours.
