The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control reported another 3,363 new cases of COVID-19 out of 13,734 test results on Thursday afternoon, making 24.5% of individual tests positive.

The state total now sits at 366,149 confirmed cases with 5,768 deaths. An additional 39 COVID-19-related deaths were reported Thursday.

After hospitals faced criticism earlier this week from Gov. Henry McMaster, who claimed that doses were not being disrupted quickly enough, DHEC reports that 59% of Pfizer-BioNTech doses have been utilized.

On Wednesday, the S.C. National Guard administered a second round of the Moderna vaccine to soldiers who volunteered to receive the treatment.
