What you need to know: Hundreds of vaccines will be available at a community vaccination event Friday at Royal Missionary Baptist Church’s Family Life Center at 4761 Luella Ave. in North Charleston’s Liberty Hill neighborhood. Up to 750 Pfizer vaccines will be administered at the event, according to a news release.

Appointments are required and will be available 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. through MUSC Health. Schedule online at MUSChealth.org/covid-outreach.

The event is officially hosted by local lawmakers S.C. Sen. Marlon Kimpson and S.C. Rep. Marvin Pendarvis.

South Carolina health officials reported 362 confirmed cases of the coronavirus on Tuesday, with two confirmed deaths.

With 7,756 tests reported Tuesday, 6.2% were positive.
