Sarah’s Dumps will host a pop-up for the first time since the onset of the pandemic on Saturday, May 22 at Island Provisions on Johns Island. And moving forward, owners Sarah and Nathan Williams-Scalise will pop-up with their handmade dumplings once a month through September while continuing to sell frozen bags of dumps online and at local shops like Veggie Bin.

“We’re still keeping them to one per month for both our own sanity,” Sarah told the City Paper. “We’ll also be adding some special guest dishes here and there — kimchi fried rice, oi muchim, and maybe even what I’m calling K-pop chicken (popcorn chicken with a gochujang sauce).”

After Island Provisions, the couple’s next pop-up will take place at Charles Towne Fermentory the following month on Saturday, June 19, and they could add a few more outings to their schedule. Keep an eye out for special collaborations throughout the summer as well with local pop-ups and restaurants like Blackout Burger and Jade Hibachi.
