Food Network personality Alton Brown’s new live tour will make a stop in Charleston at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center Feb. 18, 2022. Tickets for “Alton Brown Live – Beyond The Eats” will be available starting July 9 at 10 a.m. at ticketmaster.com and in-person at the North Charleston Coliseum box office.
Brown has appeared on several Food Network shows throughout his 20-plus years on television, including his own show, Good Eats, along with competition-based shows like Chopped and Iron Chef America, in which he served as the longtime culinary commentator. Brown won a Peabody Award in 2006 for Good Eats, and he also has two James Beard Awards to his name.
“Beyond the Eats” will land in more than 75 cities from October 2021 to April 2022. According to a press release, the two hour “live culinary variety show” will feature a similar format to Brown’s “Edible Inevitable” and “Eat Your Science” live performance tours, which drew more than 350,000 fans in over 200 cities. Attendees can expect the interactive show to feature “more cooking, more comedy, more music and more potentially dangerous science stuff,” Brown said in the release. “Prepare for an evening unlike any other and if I call for volunteers … think twice.”
