Looking for a new book to dive into? The Charleston Friends of the Library (CFOL) has plenty to offer. From Fri., July 9 through Sun., July 11, the group will host a pop-up book sale at the Charleston County Public Library Main Branch.
The event is one of many events that nonprofit organization CFOL hosts throughout the year to support the county libraries by raising money to fund library programs, equipment, training and more.
If you’re a book lover, you won’t want to miss this pop-up with hundreds of gently used books across every genre from romances and mysteries to children’s books and local histories.
The sale will run from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 2-4 p.m. on Sunday. CFOL members will have special early access to the sale on Thursday, July 8 from 4-6:30 p.m.
Book prices start at $1 for paperbacks and $4 for hardback books.
“CFOL is excited to host our book sale at Main,” said the organization’s operations manager Nulani Bennett in a press release. “Our branch book sales have continued to evolve over the years. You will find hundreds of fiction, nonfiction, cookbooks and more in fine and very good condition. We hope to see our fellow book lovers!”
