California-based pop-up Vuture Food will visit Tradesman Brewing Company Saturday during its nationwide tour with stops in cities across the country. Look for “plant-based junk food” like Nashville hot “chicken” sandwiches, vegan hot dogs, loaded French fries and more from 1-5 p.m.

The pop-up was founded in 2018 by Dominique Villarreal, who opened a brick-and-mortar Vuture location in San Pedro, California, in 2020. Vuture is making stops in Greensboro, Charlotte and Columbia prior to its visit to the Holy City, and Tradesman co-owner Chris Winn said he was happy to host the roving pop-up for a second time.

“They have been here before and had a great response,” Winn said.

Joining Vuture at the event will be Little Muffie, a Charleston-based company specializing in organic vegan desserts like chocolate and peanut butter mousse bars, red velvet cakes and hot fudge sundae cupcakes.
