Fresh off of a headlining set at Chicago’s Lollapalooza music festival, Tyler, the Creator dropped his 2022 North American tour dates, which includes a March 23, 2022 stop at North Charleston Coliseum.
The announcement comes after the release of his latest album, CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST, which debuted June 25 and immediately hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts.
The songwriter, music video director, record producer and Grammy Award-winning rapper is no stranger to making hits, though his unique and unusual style of rap is anything but mainstream, making it difficult to file his musical style under one specific genre.
His 2019 album, IGOR, also topped charts upon release and earned him a Grammy for Best Rap Album. That same year, GQ named Tyler its Man of the Year and The Wall Street Journal named him Innovator of the Year.
Several other artists will join him on the 2022 CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST tour, including Colombian American singer Kali Uchis, rapper Vince Staples and Teezo Touchdown who collaborated with Tyler on “RUNITUP,” a track from his latest album.
Aside from his March 23 show in Charleston, Tyler’s 2022 tour will make stops in major U.S. cities like Las Vegas and New York City, along with a few Canadian stops including Montreal and Vancouver.
