The Charleston RiverDogs have officially qualified for the Low-A East Championship Series playoffs beginning Sept. 21 at the Joe. Should the team maintain its first-place status in this best-of-five championship series, it will host game one, game two on Sept. 22 and game three on Sept. 24.

Before heading to the playoffs, the RiverDogs will play its final six-day homestand games of the regular season this week against the Myrtle Beach Pelicans with special events like Dog Day on Sept. 7 and Boiled Peanuts Night during Thirsty Thursday on Sept. 9.

The top seed of the series, the RiverDogs have had one of its best seasons in recent years. The team secured the most wins of all minor league baseball teams this year and surpassed the Holy City’s previous minor league winning percentage record set in 1988 by the team then known as the Charleston Rainbows.

Tickets are now on sale for game one of the playoffs. As a thank you to the fans, individuals to who purchase game one tickets will receive free admissions to any and all subsequent 2021 playoff games.

Limited edition playoff t-shirts are also now available in the Charleston RiverDogs online merchandise store.
