Blue Bicycle Books of King Street isn’t just a bookstore, but a Charleston institution since 1995. The shop contributes to local culture in a big way with its carefully curated supply of used books and diverse lineup of author-related events. Between putting on the city’s young adult book festival, YALLfest, and hosting Piccolo Spoleto and Bridge Run show readings, the team at Blue Bicycle has to keep an upbeat tempo.
