Here’s a new mystery photo of a style of building not often seen in Charleston County. What is it and where is it? Because “Unique building” might be a little harder than usual, we’ll send some City Paper swag to the third person who correctly identifies the building. To enter (one entry per person), send your guess, name and hometown in an email to: mystery@charlestoncitypaper.com.

LAST WEEK’S MYSTERY stumped more than a few readers. It wasn’t outside of the Mills House. Or the Lodge Alley Inn. Or even the College of Charleston. It was, in fact, shutters on the old Citadel, now the Embassy Suites Hotel adjacent to Marion Square. The winning 21th entry came from Kim Clay of West Ashley, who will be getting a little City Paper swag for guessing correctly.

Every Monday, the City Paper offers a mystery photo taken somewhere in the Lowcountry. We encourage you to guess — and make sure to share your name and the town in which you live. We’ll uncover the mystery the following week and, every now and then, give a prize.

BONUS: If you want to submit a mystery photo taken by you for us to share, send it to our mystery email address. Make sure to put “Submission” in the subject line.

PAST MYSTERIES: While the guessing time on these mysteries is over, you might like seeing some old mystery photos that readers have puzzled over. Enjoy!
