Ted’s Butcherblock has been Charleston’s go-to butcher since 2005. If you don’t go in to the butcher counter for a fresh cut of meat or a selection of seafood, there’s house-made pâté and sausage, as well as a cafe with sandwiches and charcuterie boards to pair with a glass of wine. Owner Ted Dombrowksi and his team always jam tunes as they open the shop, and since he is from New Jersey, he is obligated to feature Bruce Springsteen on his list of faves.

Listen to the playlist on Spotify:

“Toe Jam” – Brighton Port Authority feat. David Byrne
“Don’t Pay the Ferryman” – Chris de Burgh
“Ghosts” – Bruce Springsteen
“Hurricane Season” – Trombone Shorty
“Jockey Full of Bourbon” – Tom Waits
