Xiao Bao Biscuit took up permanent residence on Spring Street in 2012. The gas-station-turned-Asian-fusion joint has since made its imprint on the local food scene with its compact, rotating menu composed of subtly elegant food and cocktails. Xiao Bao Biscuit describes its culinary identity as “inspired by kickass grandmothers everywhere,” serving up comfort food balanced with a chic dining experience. Co-owner Duolan Li gave City Paper the staff’s top five songs to play on Friday nights.
