The average price of gas dropped about 8 cents to $3.82 per gallon since last week in South Carolina, according to a survey by GasBuddy. Part of the reason is thought to be the announcement by President Biden that 180 million barrels from the nation’s Strategic Oil Reserve will be released to ease prices.

180-acre land on Wando River up for sale. One of the largest properties along the Wando River near S.C. Highway 41 went up for sale, and the town of Mount Pleasant has shown interest in purchasing the property. There is no set asking price for the property.
