The average price of gas dropped about 8 cents to $3.82 per gallon since last week in South Carolina, according to a survey by GasBuddy. Part of the reason is thought to be the announcement by President Biden that 180 million barrels from the nation’s Strategic Oil Reserve will be released to ease prices.
